A Review:

WSJ-Wooing China To Drop Tariffs

by

R.E. Prindle

Today (4/5/17) we learn in the Journal that China places tariffs of double digits on US goods. President Trump has been cursed for not being a Free Trader and the quaking shaking Libs wobble around in circles at the mention of the word tariff. But now, according to Bill Lane, of Caterpillar, who wrote the article, the Pres. Is going to entertain Chinese bigwigs at Mar-a-Lago and ‘woo’ them to drop their tariffs.

So, now we belatedly learn what has been concealed, the Chinese have never been Free Traders, just free loaders exploiting the US and Europe. The story goes further than Bill and the WSJ do as they don’t delve any deeper. As Niall Ferguson pointed out in an article the Chinese threw up a firewall against US technology companies so that they wouldn’t dominate China while the Chinese studied the internet and stole whatever information they needed to create their own search engine, Baidu, and mimic and master the social media. That done you and I can now download Baidu but the Chinese are unable to ‘Google it’. Rah, rah, rah, Free Trade.

So, now that Bill and the WSJ realize they’ve been walking around with something stiff and yellow up their backsides for years they’re beginning to feel the discomfort. After decades of that they’re going to attempt to solve the problem bass ackwards. They’re encouraging the Pres. To ‘woo’, understand the word woo, China into dropping its tariffs rather than doing the muscular thing and impose tariffs on the Chinese and kick their asses in line.

Ah, but the Libs say that will wreck the Global Free Trade system, but, there isn’t a Free Trade system as China has amply demonstrated. So, what did China achieve by imposing double digit tariffs? They built up their economy quickly and at the expense of a Global Free Trade system. We in effect paid them to do business with them.

So, what will happen if the US imposes double digit tariffs on Chinese goods? China will be forced to develop their own internal economy while the US will quickly rebuild its own economy.   Will that mean goods will no longer be cheap? Why? As the Libs never tire of saying, robots are doing the work so there won’t be any jobs.

Well, if the Chinese are turning to robots because robots are the cheapest to run even more cheaply than cheap Chinese labor then goods can be made as cheaply here at the same cost that is as in China. Imagine the transportation costs that will be saved making our domestic goods even cheaper.

Mr. Bill concludes his argument thusly: Maybe this is the right time for the two leaders to cut a deal to slash Chinese trade barriers.

Chinese trade barriers? Why weren’t Chinese trade barriers a major topic during the election? Why are we only hearing of Chinese trade barriers now? Maybe Chinese trade barriers didn’t and don’t fit the so-called Free Trade system? Then we have nothing to lose.

Face it Libs: We’ve been had since that dolt Nixon opened to China. It is time for China to play by the same rules the Free Traders are playing by to get a little of our own back.

I just hope the Pres. turns aggressive and stops the defensive cowtowing to those East Coast Libs and pays more attention to the people who elected him. Figure it out Mr. Pres. they would have loved to have burned you at the stake back then and it would gratify them much to see you in flames now. Stop trying to placate them and kick them into place.

The Inevitability Factor

The Inevitability Factor

I am always amused when Liberals get on their high horse and announce that we now live in a global situation. But then in a strange turnabout they seem to think that American democracy is conquering the world. They live in the bubble of the Post ’45 American Liberal Agenda. They believe it will conquer the world.

The fact is that the rest of the world doesn’t give a damn about our democracy. China is an autocracy and they aren’t changing. Africa is the mess it always has been and it can’t change; it’s still tribal and always will be. The Moslem world of nearly two billion is a theocracy and not only is it determined to remain so but it is active on all its borders to furiously remodel the rest of the world on its theocracy.

The only thing of the West the rest of world embraces is the West’s economic model. They’ve just about got it down and here’s the news for the American democracy- they don’t need us anymore. Within a decade or two China and India with a population nearly three billion will far surpass the US turning it into an economic backwater. The economies of the various countries of Europe won’t even register on the scale.

Asia doesn’t need us, they don’t want us. Get that straight, commit it to memory, they don’t need us. Once you’ve committed that to memory, act on it.

The US has three hundred million people; India and China have nearly three billion between them nearly equally divided. The prosperous class of America, say 25% numbers seventy-five million. Twenty-five percent of three billion is seven hundred fifty million. That means that assuming that their twenty-five percent with equal prosperity will be bigger than the entire population of the US and Europe combined and that doesn’t include the satellite Asian countries. The inevitable consequence is that Asia will rule the world. Asians will be able to look down on Americans and Europeans and it is inevitable they will and enjoy it immensely. It is inevitable that they will command the world’s resources. They will be able to outbid EuroAmerica every time.

This is inevitable. It can no longer be stopped. The world’s financial capital will not be New York or London but Beijing.

Once again, it is inevitable that the US will become a backwater to be exploited worse than it is now.

Rather than continuing to give the US away to the world, which means that an entire ancient civilization will disappear from the Earth, we should be developing our prowess as skillfully as the Asians are doing. We are probably already beyond being able to salvage our civilization. Current attitudes on race and immigration are going to be impossible to reverse in time. Therefore, remember it is inevitable that you and Euroamerican civilization will disappear from the Earth and that speedily. Within only two, possibly three, generations there will be only pockets of survivors.

Trump And The New Global Era

Trump And The New Global Era

What the Liberals must learn to accept is that Obama is gone. He’s in the dead letter box. He and his policies have failed abysmally. In a changing world Obama refused to change living rather in a nineteenth century pre-Civil War slave mentality. He and his policies have been discarded brutally as Americans, having had enough, look to the future.

The Pea Brains of Obama are being replaced by people of vast global experience. These people are so capable, so forward thinking that they loosen the bowels of the Pea Brains sending them howling to their ‘Safe Spaces’ for shelter from the storm.

Case in point is Trump’s choice of Exxon president Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State. In contrast to the silly Hillary Clinton Tillerson is used to thinking and dealing on a global scale. He commands one of the largest enterprises in the known world. Therefore he is capable of major enterprises with invaluable experience in dealing with all kinds of governments first hand, mano a mano. Who wouldn’t want him? Who wouldn’t applaud his appointment?

Yet, the Pea Brains are fearful that he might offend somebody. Did it ever occur to the Pea Brains that he would win their respect, that he might already have it? No. The Pea Brains are cowering in what they call ‘Safe Spaces.’ Well, Pea Brains, not everyone is as chicken as you; a majority know that in the global competitive hurly burly you have to stand up and deal with problems, solve them and not cower in ‘Safe Spaces.’

One can only applaud Trump for having the courage to appoint people who can get the job done. Skin color and sex do not enter into his decisions. Unlike Obama who was elected on the basis of skin color and who chose his appointees based solely on their skin color, Trump goes for the best and most capable for the job they are to do.

Hence Rex Tillerson, a proven performer. It is objected that Tillerson has cooperated with Putin. Well, why shouldn’t he, the oil business is global and not local. The future is not going to be based solely on bombing power but an economic power hence all these so-called trade organizations entered into on a disadvantageous basis by Trump’s predecessors.

They have weakened our sovereignty that Trump with the help of men and women of proven capabilities such as Tillerson’s is going to restore.

If you don’t want the US to be a global leader than go cower in basement safe spaces. You are not needed; you will be safe there and out of the way of the doers.

The Greatest Scam: A Conspiracy Theory

The Greatest Scam:

A Conspiracy Theory

by

R.E. Prindle

There has always been an element troubling me about the Trump candidacy. There seems a smack of insincerity, of calculation. A hidden agenda.

Often overlooked in considering political entities is the Money Trust. The Trust operates above all other entities. What the old theorists referred to as the Invisible Hand.   It has been active in the US since at least the Civil War. Its primary, indeed, only, concern is to make money by any possible means whether in creating value or destroying it then recreating it, destroying it ad infinitum.

Thus, in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries the railroads were a fertile field for looting, rebuilding and relooting.

Since the second half of the twentieth century major looting have taken place not only in companies but whole industries, to mention only the largest, the Savings and Loan industry and then the housing bubble of the early twenty-first century. Less noticed was the successful effort to empty the accrued value in mortgages by encouraging home owners to ‘free up’ that value by borrowing against equity for frivolous reasons such as vacations.

When the housing bubble burst, by then the wealth of the country had been transferred to the banks. The banks had cleverly divested themselves of the worthless mortgages by packaging them as a security and selling the securities to suckers who we all know never deserve an even break.

When the bubble burst this still left a deficit to be covered so carrying the looting even further the banks demanded and got two trillion dollars from the government in two installments called bail-outs. This virtually bankrupted the US leaving little else to steal or seemingly so. The ingenuity of the bankers was not so easily exhausted.

Now they turned the country upside down emptying its pockets by sending the US economy overseas to China or South to Mexico and environs. Like the railroads of the nineteenth century the US had been destroyed. Now the money was to be made in rebuilding.

Now we come to the truly incredible part, very chancy. The tools used to destroy the country Clinton, Bush (both Bushes, keys to the story) and Obama were not suitable for rebuilding. A different type was needed. The transition would not be easy as the redirection from destruction to construction would be needed. As is well known the financial destiny of the world, not just the US, is in the hands of the people of Goldman-Sachs. GS was prominent in all the administrations, most especially as guides for the non-entity called Barack Obama.

Goldman-Sachs had built up a titan of the construction industry, Donald J. Trump. Billing himself as the King of Debt Trump was financed by Goldman-Sachs and other Jewish financiers. Trump was and is surrounded by Jews. He owes his existence to them. He had to be the tool for the transition from destruction to construction as the money was now to be had by rebuilding the US economy.

Getting Trump elected was very chancy but with probably a certain amount of acumen the Jewish financiers had sharpened the right tool. A New York Liberal all his life, not unlike the 1940 Republican candidate Wendell Willkie, Trump switched to championing the disenfranchised, expounding positions quite foreign to a New York Liberal. Trump declared himself independent of Wall Street money so that the financiers had to be appearing to be backing their openly Liberal candidate Hillary Clinton. This was a tough balancing act but one seemingly successfully negotiated.

Trump, while appearing a clown, ran a brilliant campaign based not on capturing the popular vote but using the electoral college. Thus while Clinton appears to have won the popular vote (there are serious questions as to the eligibility of millions of voters) Clinton was soundly defeated in the electoral college.

While Trump was reviled, criminally defamed, during the campaign one expected that there would be some revelation just before the election defaming him further. Strangely the reverse happened. There seemed to be a letting up of slander against Trump while a barrage of heavy negatives was unloaded against Clinton instead making her campaign stagger. It would appear that the Clinton dynasty was being discarded as, indeed, it was. She was no longer useful.

Trump himself is committed to reversing the destructive policies of the Liberals and as there are more trillions to be made in reconstructing the country thus enriching the bankers further it is impossible that Trump won’t do what he has pledged.

In the process, it will be necessary to recreate prosperity for the greatest number. Thus the greed of the few will likely create a decade or so of great prosperity which in turn will create the possibility for further looting. I think the country has that to look forward to.

The kids will be able to move out from mom and dad’s.

Trump The Globalist

Trump The Globalist

by

R.E. Prindle

In this great big happy global community it is always pleasant to hear from our correspondent from Peru, Mr. Hernando De Soto, in the 11/28/16 Wall Street Journal in a piece he entitles The Real Enemy for Trump Is Mercantilism, Not Globalism. Mr. De Soto addresses this as Trump’s real problem.

In his role of incoming president Trump represents the problems facing the US and I respectfully demur from Mr. De Soto’s opinion that our problem is mercantilism. It definitely is not. The problem is globalism as Trump has repeatedly pointed out. Few people seem to hear him.

The problem as Trump addresses it is the differential in the cost of producing goods in the US and the rest of the world, most specifically China and Mexico. A secondary problem is the exclusion of American made goods and the equal right of investing globally; that is, China specifically excludes the right to invest in China that that country enjoys in investing in the US and the third problem is the artificial maintenance of the currency exchange right by China and possibly Mr. De Soto’s Peru although I am not familiar with Peruvian attitudes. In other words Trump’s position is that the playing field has to be leveled. Mercantilism has nothing to do with it.

In order then, for the global economy to go forward some sort of global equity should be speedily arranged and I am sure Trump will obtain this equity by any means necessary if the various participants refuse to see reason.

As far as the US part in the global economy one may say the gold rush is over. We’ve set the global economy on its feet. It is now time for reciprocation. There is nothing more absurd than that US military supplies be made in China. I’m sure Mr. De Soto sees the point. Our people need jobs too. Mr. Trump will bring the US economy back home.   China having been taught how can then exploit its one and a half billion population for decades without any need for the US.

Does Trump Miss The Point On Tech Visas?

Does Trump Miss The Point

On Tech Visas?

by

R.E. Prindle

There are apparently many jobs Americans won’t do. One is obviously the very high paying job of CEO of IT companies which seem to be headed by Hindus. While Americans were quite capable of inventing computers, the internet and all the IT accoutrements they are incapable of managing that which they have invented. At least until recently. The personnel of talent now come from outside the US which is incapable of producing anything other than dummies, at least of the male variety. Sometime in the recent past White males lost the ability to function but fortunately women and people of color are here to pick up the slack.

The country of choice for choosing the CEOs seems to be India. The Hindu mind that produced virtually nothing for the last three thousand years or so seems to be ideally suited to the computer sciences. So much so that Americans adequately performing tech jobs are now being fired, one presumes for incompetence to be replaced by Hindus or others who have surpassed White people in intelligence while in many cases according to Jason Riley are even paid more than the American morons they replace thus actually raising costs to their companies. One marvels that such super intellects have been hiding in India unused lo these many millennia. It took American genius to discover them in their lairs, give them a shave and new suit of clothes and get them on the job.

Mr. Riley writing in the venerable Wall Street Journal (8/17/16) gives us his thoughts in a piece he titles: Trump Misses the Point on Tech Visas. Obviously the President of the United States may be one of those jobs Americans won’t do along with picking grapes and basic construction. Indeed, our current Negro president was chosen because his skin isn’t White. While most Americans believe he has done a poor job, his signature legislation Obamacare is heading toward bankruptcy, the people in charge are convinced he has been the greatest president ever. Perspective is obviously involved.

Mr. Riley who is a senior fellow at something called Manhattan Institute is also a WSJ contributor. Those should be stellar credentials but Mr. Riley, perhaps a little too senior, is difficult to follow.

In yesterday’s times these H1B immigrants would have been called wage busters or scabs. While there are several instances of importing these workers to displace an already existing work force Mr. Riley chose for his illustration the Disney Co. of Orlando. Disney World is appropriately a fantasy world.

Choosing his words carefully Mr. Riley says that 250 American Disney tech workers were ‘furloughed’ to be replaced by 250 H1B workers while Mr. Riley doesn’t say from where a good guess would be that they are Hindus from India. Now, the word furlough means a leave of absence, applied especially to the military. Those 250 American workers were not furloughed, they were fired. They aren’t coming back while they were compelled to train their replacements. Mr. Riley glosses over this truth to avoid the obvious. The ability to do this is why he works for a ‘think tank.’

He explains further making even less sense: Something called the National Foundation for American Policy released a study, by whom and of what quality isn’t mentioned, but according to the study “Companies are not replacing long time employees with new workers doing the exact same jobs but rather replacing the employees with new systems in an attempt to perform the function in a more efficient way.’ In other words, these Hindus are far superior workers than the Americans.

Let us hope for Disney’s sake the attempt is successful. We are not informed who devised the new more efficient systems, one would be surprised they could have been inefficient Americans, whether from domestic or ‘outsourced’ sources but what is clear is that 250 Hindus replaced 250 American workers who apparently were too stupid to be retrained to the new more efficient system.

What is interesting here is that Disney accepted 250 employees sight unseen. They did not vett them themselves. Mr. Riley explains:

In reality [interesting word to use in the Disney fantasyland] hiring a contractor is often done through a competitive bidding process and the company doesn’t know beforehand whether or to what extent the winning bid will use H1B visa holders.

Competitive bidding? Mr. Riley doesn’t say on what basis the competition was defined but in business it is usually for the lowest possible price. The only reasonable conclusion is that in the bidding by various agencies it is to provide 250 qualified workers who will accept the lowest possible wage. But no, Mr. Riley say this is an unreasonable assumption.

US employers turn to high-skill immigrants for the same reason they turn to low skill immigrants… [that is the lowest possible wage] out of necessity. Foreign nationals who tend [they tend?] to be either more skilled or less skilled than the typical US worker.

So essentially Disney is getting a pig in a poke; 250 workers who may be more skilled or less skilled than the workers they are replacing, hence no gain in efficiency under any system, new or old. But they are replacing ‘typical’ American workers. (Perhaps at this point one can see Donald Trump scratching his head because he probably doesn’t understand.) ‘Typical’ seems confusing in any case. Obviously American universities have found Americans too stupid to teach because more than 70% of full time graduate students in electrical engineering and computer sciences of American universities are international students says Mr. Riley. Over the past three decades, college-degree holders outside the US have more than doubled while the US share of those with college degrees has declined by 30%. Has anyone asked why American college degree holders have declined? It would seem something to look into, don’t you think?   It would seem that something is going on. Discrimination?

I have trouble making any sense of Mr. Riley’s article and I’m not sure Mr. Riley is able to either. Certainly while Mr. Riley claims that Trump misses the point on tech visas nowhere in his article does he show reasons of Trump’s ignorance. After reading this article I doubt if Mr. Trump is any more enlightened.

The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed to print such incompetent articles as Mr. Riley’s. Of course Mr. Riley is an inefficient American brain worker who should, perhaps be replaced by a foreign worker using a new more efficient system.

I’m still voting Trump who, by my standards, has a better grasp on the nature of the problem’s facing us.

The Insincerity Of Khizr Khan

The Insincerity

Of Khizr Khan

by

R.E. Prindle

I thought the Khizr Khan thing would have died a natural death but since it hasn’t let me say a few things that seem to have been passed over. At the base of the issue the Khans are Human Traffickers in collusion with the Clintons and the King of the Saudi Arabians. The association has been very profitable for the Clintons who have received many lesser amounts as well as a 25 million dollar contribution to their trust from the Saudis. What does one do for someone that merits that much money? Something they considered very valuable. What was it? No one has asked the Clintons because the explanation might not go down so well.

The Clintons have known Khizr Khan for some time having received checks from him through his law firm. Khan himself facilitates or facilitated selling green cards to wealthy Moslems for 500,000. The green cards were good for the Moslem purchaser’s entire extended family. Thus Khan was the middleman in moving humans from the Middle East to the US. Their son, who I am sure was a patriotic deep dyed American, nevertheless joined the Army to get a free education after. His very wealthy parents who could easily have put him through the most expensive US college from the profits of their Human Trafficking thus are themselves scamming the US in what I would consider a less than patriotic way. Do the Khan’s have undivided loyalty to the US as they claimed? Not very likely.

Now, the Clintons pretend not to have not known about the Khans and their son until a staffer allegedly heard about their story contacting them to speak against Trump at the convention. What the basis of their request might have been isn’t clear. Why would the Clintons wish to conceal their friendship with the Khans? Obviously something is going on here but we are led to believe that the Khan’s hate Donald Trump for some unexplained reason and wished to take this opportunity to condemn him. What was the reason for their asking: Donald Trump have you ever read the Constitution? It had nothing to do with their son’s death in action in Iraq. Obviously it was because Trump threatened their Human Trafficking livelihood. It is a money related issue. Their Human Trafficking was threatened by Trump’s intent to ban Moslem immigration. Talk about coal miners losing their jobs, Khizn stood to lose a fortune.   How many green cards had he already sold? Loyalty to the US, faugh!

How many tens of thousands could he sell if not cut off?

Now, there is nothing in the Constitution that guarantees anyone a right to immigrate to the US. There is nothing in the Constitution that denies the US the right to refuse immigrants for any reason or to suspend immigration altogether. With a few exceptions the last has been done.

So, Mr. Khan, as the fine Constitutional scholar that you are can you point to the words that affirm anyone a right to immigrate into the US? Can you point to the words that say members of a religious class cannot be selectively excluded?

Mr. Khan, if you’re out there, we are waiting for your answers. Educate us, please.

Donald Trump And The New Progressivism

Donald Trump

And The

New Progressivism

by

R.E. Prindle

An ideology has to be updated from time to time. Now is the time for a new take on an old ideology. Donald Trump is the president who can make it a reality.

Progressivism means an advance in the welfare of civilization. Through perhaps 1920 progress, significant progress, or the amelioration of civilization, had been made. World War I closed out that period. Since 1920 the application of the old progressivism has become increasingly regressive so that in today’s conditions the old progressivism is a failed ideology.

Whereas in the past European peoples including the US developed a system of Progressivism they shared with the rest of the world, educating the peoples of China, India et al. in its use, those peoples can now stand on their own feet; they no longer need Western help.

The New Progressivism then returns to the care and welfare of our own Western peoples. A tenet of the OP was Free Trade which became a gift to the Eastern peoples. Free Trade means merely that the lowest cost producer is the prime beneficiary. The money flows downhill to them. The low cost producers exploit their people who are naturally receiving the lowest possible wage. Low wages are the prime element of low cost production.

To protect what the West has built up then it is necessary to enact a wage differential bringing every producer’s wage to a certain level. For the West this means a tariff. Tariffs were considered regressive under the OP but become progressive under the New Progressivism. In fact, it is imperative they be enacted for our very survival.

Donald Trump appears to be the candidate who understands this as he has created the New Republican Party discarding the old.

The Democrats are hopelessly behind the times.

As regards Mexico and a border wall that may not be necessary if Trump is neo-progressive in dealing with the Mexicans. He must approach the Mexicans and advise them that if they don’t want a wall they must grant all Americans, both US and Canada, dual citizenship with full rights as Mexican citizens including the right to run for public office up to and including the presidency.

As the US has already generously built up the Mexican economy by sending industry South there is no reason for a border. The US wage rates would immediately prevail in Mexico. Any US residents of any national background would be free to move South to seek jobs as they wish. After all these are US plants and more will be built.

The increase in wages in Mexico would then provide a burgeoning market generating, along with the tariff that would then apply in Mexico also, prosperity North and South for twenty years or so.

Mexico would remain a separate administrative unit so as to prevent unwieldiness.

Trump could be the most progressive president ever known.

A Heartfelt Appeal To Peggy Noonan

A Heartfelt Appeal To

Peggy Noonan

By

R.E. Prindle

Peggy Noonan is back. In her 6/25-26/16 WSJ column she comes clean declaring that Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan. Let’s hope not and who would want to be?   Reagan had no economic sense and managed to exceed the country’s income by three trillion dollars. His successors were thus convinced that the national debt doesn’t matter. And, as you know the debt is now at twenty trillion pieces of toilet paper and multiplying rapidly.

Secondly, even though he did face the Soviet Union down so that the Berlin wall was taken down, he was so short sighted that he failed to reconcile the US with the Russian successor State leaving us now with the insane notion that Russia is our enemy which it need not be and isn’t. Thank you Ronnie.

Let us hope Trump has learned from the Gimper’s mistakes. Peg hasn’t.

She doesn’t appear to understand Reagan so she has no understanding of Trump’s current situation. Like the other pundits she doesn’t understand what it means to run a multi-billion dollar construction company. Peg in her ignorance, as sweet and lovely a she undoubtedly is, makes the remarkable statement: (Trump) has never held office and has not proved himself a leader of men. (Probably Peg means persons, she would never be consciously politically incorrect.)

Now, Peg, Trump has led architects, negotiated thousands of product deals from steel girders to toilet paper, handled construction crews, union agents, because our society is so fucked he has had to deal with the Mafia and perhaps other criminal organizations. Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan and probably all presidents since 1932 have also had to negotiate with organized crime. Perhaps you’re not aware that Hollywood was rife with the Mob when Reagan led SAG. There may a closer comparison between Reagan and Trump than you think.

Then Peg comes up with the whopper of whoppers: Mr. Hewett told Mr. Trump to “rebuke the crazy one percent” who are Trump supporters but also anti-Semitic and racist.

L-rd, Peggy dear, I don’t even know where to start. Do you realize, dear one, that this is a democracy in which there are no sacred cows? If you wish to be a Semitophile, then by all means be one. I am not a Semitophile nor am I evil as your Mr. Hewitt states. I am as kind, decent and considerate as any Semitophile or actual Semite.

For you the Semites, both Jews and Arabs, seem to be in some sanctified category, that is, above criticism no matter what or how many crimes they commit. The Jews for instance have a National Museum in Las Vegas celebrating Jewish criminals. Alright! For you they are privileged characters. But for ‘one percent’ they aren’t. Jewish estimates place anti-Semites at 100% of the population, no exclusion for you Peg. You say that because this ‘one percent’ doesn’t reverence the Semites warts and all that they are despicable people and worse still, anti-Semites.

That makes you a bigot, Peg, and I know you think you aren’t. But you are. No people is perfect not even the Jews and Moslems. They have their own agendas and they don’t necessarily bode well for anyone but themselves. Perhaps you should examine those agendas carefully and objectively to see if you can continue to unqualifiedly offer them your love and support.

If you can then that’s fine with me but don’t call me a racist or anti-Semite because I don’t or I will have to call you an ignorant fool.

Vote Trump, Peg, Vote Trump.

The True Globalism- America First

America First-

The True Globalism

by

R.E. Prindle

When it comes to today’s ruling philosophy of Globalism let me say at the outset and right here and now, I am as Global in my outlook as anyone and more intelligently than most. However the globe is a vasty ball rolling ‘cross the sky and my home is a fixed relatively small place. As I look out my window I don’t see a globe; I see a flat disc. As Rudyard Kipling put in his poem Sussex:

God gave all men all earth to love,

But, since our hearts are small,

Ordained for each one spot should prove

Beloved over all.

As Kipling rightly sees that even though the fate of all lives are mingled and all earth holy that which is of me and mine is holiest of all. Kipling goes on:

So one shall Baltic pines content,

Or one some Surrey glade,

Or one some palm-grove’s droned lament

Before Levuka’s Trade.

Each to his choice, and I rejoice

The lot that has fallen to me

In a fair ground – in a fair ground –

Yea, Sussex by the sea!

Yea, as I live here in the land of the Douglas fir, and it seems paradise to me. Looking further out I live in the United States of America and its welfare comes first to me among all other nations.

China has it claims for the Chinese I’m sure. The Chinese being able bodied people require no sacrifice from me or mine or the people of the US. True, our destinies are in a general way entwined but we all have to look to our own interests first. First for me and mine, first for my city and first for America the place that gave me my identity. I am not Chinese, I am not Indian, I am not African. They are all able bodied people well able to look after themselves and I’m sure they place their interests first and may God bless them but in the struggle for the last crust of bread I place my needs first.

Kipling writing in 1899 at the height of the White Man’s domination of the world also wrote of what he assumed was the White Man’s responsibility. He called his poem The White Man’s Burden:

Take up the White Man’s burden-

Send forth the best ye breed-

Go bind your sons to exile

To serve your captives’ need;

To wait in heavy harness

On fluttered folk and wild-

Your new caught, sullen peoples

Half devil and half child.

Kipling’s was an admirable creed for a singular time but that time has long since passed and our ‘new caught, sullen peoples’ have assimilated our economy and machine guns, even our atom bombs. Times have changed, power relations have altered. Our task ‘to serve our captive’s needs’ has now been completed. It is time they repaid the debt. It is time we laid the White Man’s Burden down.

I believe that is presidential candidate Donald Trump’s message. Lay that burden down. We don’t have to make concessions to the Chinese, Africans or any of the ‘sullen peoples’ any longer. The Republican Establishment or Old Guard still clings to the White Supremacist attitude inherent in the lines of Kipling’s White Man’s Burden. They are willing to sacrifice our identity, our worth, to ‘lifting’ people who have their own identity and sense of worth and who no longer need the White Man’s largess, if they ever did.

Let the dead past bury its dead. The Republican Establishment represents that dead past while Trump looks to the horizon of the future, that Brave New World that requires a brave new attitude in competition with all on equal terms for the fair fruits of the earth. The intertwining of fates in globalism is inescapable but globalism itself is a mirage because:

God gave all men all earth to love,

But, since men’s hearts are small,

Ordains for each one spot shall prove

Beloved over all.

Each to his choice, and I rejoice

The lot that has fallen to me

In a fair ground – in a fair ground –

[Here in the USA.]
